NEURA unveiled 4NE1 Gen 4 on October 22 at the opening of the TUM RoboGym near Munich Airport. The humanoid has a black textile exterior, and the company says its weight is 20% lower than the preceding generation. It has not supplied an absolute weight in the announcement.
The update also includes revised hands and limb-level reflex controls. NEURA says its Neuron AI system combines multiple sensor inputs with training from robot experience, human demonstrations and simulation. These are manufacturer descriptions of the system.
Gen 4 is already being used for task training at NEURA facilities, while preparation for series production continues. That access is distinct from buying a robot: the announcement gives no retail price or ordering offer. The existing Gen 3.5 reservation terms do not establish a Gen 4 price.
